Possibly none, if you are in a "no fault" state or have "limited tort" liability.

What you are describing is called "soft tissue injury". Chiro bills are generally disregarded, as it's pretty easy to get MASSIVE chiro bills with little or no injury. Your car is NOT badly damaged, with only $3K of damage.

I'd wait and see what the adjuster offers - Counter offer with double or triple that, see what they say . . . but if you go to an attorney, I bet you'll find they won't take your case. It's not that liabitliy doesn't exist - it does - it's just not WORTH very much. Not much damage to your car, no broken anything, just testing, xrays, chiros, and pain pills.

Sorry.

Be very careful about pain and suffering, and large amounts. Most of the time you have to go over a threashold. This can take a long time to prove, and even though you have short term symptoms, long term is usually harder. Especially after a few years of it not being settled, you are watched by the opposing insurance company to make sure you are behaving as someone who should be injured. This is done due to the amount of frivolous lawsuits bought on by people looking to make a quick buck. So if the doctor says there will be long term effects, and its proven, then it could be substanial. Still consult with a lawyer before you do anything, they can be a better judge. Just not a fly by night firm, they may just want to settle quick, and not get you a reasonable amount.

Uh, be careful,
You can't go to the gym. Do you expect to be taken seriously??
Can;'t work, now that's a different story.

You can always find a lawyer, but be aware,
Nationwide has lawyers, too.

Be aware if you sue, it might take years before you see a nickel.

Are your medical expenses being taken care of.
